The window for submitting a proposal for a new directory of the UK academic landscape relevant to the humanitarian innovation sector is now open with a deadline of 23:59 BST Friday 22nd September 2023. 

Proposals must be submitted to helen.hazlehurst@ukhih.org. Please include the following:

  • A proposal in line with the specifications in the Call for Proposals
  • Completed sections 7 to 10 of the Call for Proposals
  • Completed schedules 1 and 2

Overview

UKHIH is seeking to explore the opportunity space to provide humanitarian innovation actors with access to a new consolidated directory of UK academic stakeholders engaged in research and innovation applicable to humanitarian innovation priorities. In doing so, to provide a practical resource designed to support efforts to strengthen humanitarian innovation practice by increasing UK academic connections and knowledge.

Key deliverables

  • Explore a design brief for a new directory of the UK academic landscape for the humanitarian innovation sector.
  • Scope out potential hosting options.
  • Collect data to build a new directory.
  • Publish a new directory.

Selection process

Proposals will be evaluated based on the criteria set out in the Call for Proposals. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview in the week commencing 2nd October 2023 to clarify details in the proposal and assess the candidate’s suitability for the work.
