Mark joined UKHIH in October 2020 and is responsible for managing our overall strategy and operations. He has a background in international programme management, having worked for more than 20 years with international humanitarian organisations, including Oxfam and the British Red Cross.

Adrienne has over 20 years public health and research experience in Africa, Asia and the UK. She has led practical applications of evidence in health services and interventions in humanitarian and resource-constrained settings, working with and for a variety of NGOs, governments, universities and UN agencies. Adrienne leads UKHIH's portfolio of new research and learning products to strengthen innovation systems and capacity across the humanitarian sector.

Alex joined the UKHIH team in August 2024, bringing a deep and diverse understanding of the humanitarian sector with extensive experience working with organisations such as Mercy Corps, IMPACT Initiatives, the British Red Cross, and UNHCR, particularly in the MENA region. Alex's expertise spans partnership development, research and data analysis, and the innovative use of technology such as satellites and AI in crisis situations to allow humanitarians to more effectively track and predict needs and develop more effective programming.

Bega joined UKHIH in December 2024. She brings a wealth of 8 years' experience with the World Health Organization (WHO) in Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan, where she managed large-scale emergency portfolios for COVID-19 and war response activities. Her expertise spans grant administration, monitoring and evaluation, financial compliance, and programme management. With an MSc in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from London School of Economics (LSE), her expertise lies in strengthening the Hub's operations and enriching collective knowledge and understanding of the humanitarian sector.
